This year’s edition of the league will also be called the 2021-22 VIVO Pro Kabaddi League that will run from December 22, 2021, until January 20, 2022. The league will have 12 teams in total and here are them with the name of their respective team captains:

All 66 matches will be held in the same venue at the Shertan Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel where all players will also stay. All matches will be held behind closed doors as the league will be utilizing a bio-secure bubble to ensure everyone’s safety.
Based on reports, the teams will be given a floor to themselves and will not be allowed to go elsewhere once they have checked in. COVID-19 tests will also be done frequently and there are also reports that the tournament’s broadcasters and other officials are also booked in a hotel near the vicinity.
